A Qatari military delegation from the Joaan Bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies visited the National Center for Security and Crisis Management on Wednesday. The visit aimed to learn about the center’s operational mechanisms in crisis and disaster management.
The delegation was briefed on the center’s strategic and operational philosophy in managing crises and mitigating risks, as well as the technologies it uses to help unify national efforts. This approach is based on modern crises and disaster management science to create a safe and stable national environment. The center's role in coordinating national plans and working with various institutions and agencies to anticipate crises of all types, in accordance with international standards in crises management, was also highlighted.
During the visit, the delegation toured the center’s sections and viewed the modern equipment prepared to handle environmental changes.
