
The Advanced Climate Intelligence Analysis course, held in cooperation with the FCDO, concluded today, Wednesday, at the National Center for Security and Crises Management with the Participation of representatives from various security agencies and national institutions from both public and private sectors. The course ran from January 5th to 14th, 2026.
The course emphasized the importance of cooperation among all international and national entities in addressing climate change and mitigating its negative impacts through collaboration and partnership across all institutions at all levels.
The training course, led by academic lecturers and trainers from Oxford University, aimed to enhance understanding of climate change and its impact on security risks. It also provided participants with advanced knowledge in data collection and analytical techniques, as well as building predictive and foresight capabilities for security risks associated with climate change. This involved developing and evaluating scenarios to ultimately formulate recommendations.
These courses and workshops are part of the Center's strategy to contribute to developing and strengthening the capabilities of human resources and enhancing their knowledge and scientific expertise in dealing with disasters and crises and mitigating their risks.
At the conclusion of the course, certificates were awarded to the participants.
