Jordan Joins NATO’s Largest Disaster Management Exercise in Bulgaria

 

The National Center for Security and Crises Management participated in Bulgaria 2025, NATO’s largest international disaster response exercise ,held from September 8 to 12 in Bulgaria.
Represented by the Vice-Chairman of the center Brig. Gen. Hatem Al-Zoubi and senior officials, the Jordanian delegation joined over 1,000 participants from NATO member states and partner organizations. 

The exercise, organized by the Bulgarian Centre of Excellence with NATO support, featured realistic scenarios simulating responses to natural disasters and technological crises, including earthquakes and nuclear incidents.

Jordan’s participation reflects its ongoing partnership with NATO and efforts to strengthen national crisis management capabilities in line with international standards.
