NATO Delegation Visits Jordan's National Center for Security and Crises Management

A delegation from the NATO Partnerships and Security Cooperation Division visited Jordan’s National Center for Security and Crises Management on Tuesday to gain insight into the Center’s operational mechanisms and explore avenues for enhanced cooperation in crises and disaster management.

The delegation, headed by Christophe Lhomme, NATO’s Executive Officer for Defense and Security Cooperation, received a comprehensive briefing on the Center’s strategic and operational approach to handling crises and disasters. The presentation highlighted the advanced technologies the Center employs to coordinate national efforts and foster a secure and stable environment in line with modern crisis management methodologies.

The visitors were also briefed on the Center’s role in coordinating and implementing national contingency plans, as well as its collaborative mechanisms with various ministries, institutions, and agencies to anticipate and manage crises in accordance with international standards.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation toured the Center’s various departments and reviewed the state-of-the-art equipment designed to address evolving strategic challenges at the local, regional, and international levels.
